One move

Incline Push-Ups

Strength Upper body

How to read ahead. Do to go one move at a time.

Hands on a sturdy elevated surface (bench, couch, wall), body in a straight line, lower chest toward the surface and press back up. Easier entry to pushing strength.

Option. Higher surface = easier. Lower the hands or move to regular push-ups as you get stronger.

Show the steps
  1. 1

Place your hands on a sturdy elevated surface slightly wider than shoulder-width.

  2. 2

Walk your feet back until your body forms a straight line from head to heels.

  3. 3

Engage your core and glutes so your hips don’t sag or pike.

  4. 4

Bend your elbows to lower your chest toward the surface with control.

  5. 5

Press through your hands to straighten your arms and return to start.

  6. 6

Keep elbows at about 45 degrees and neck neutral.
