One move

Chair Sit-to-Stand

Strength Stability Lower body

How to read ahead. Do to go one move at a time.

Sit on the edge of a sturdy chair with feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Lean slightly forward and stand up by pushing through your heels, then slowly lower back down with control.

Option. Hands on the chair arms if you need them. Hover above the seat without fully sitting when that feels quieter. Full stand only when the knees stay happy.

Stop if. A knee pinches or the low back takes the load.
