One move

World’s Greatest Stretch

Mobility Full body

How to read ahead. Do to go one move at a time.

From a lunge position, place the same-side hand inside the front foot, reach the other arm to the ceiling while rotating the torso, then switch. Full-body mobility flow.

Option. Keep the back knee down for an easier version. Move slowly and breathe into the stretch.

Show the steps
  1. 1

Step one foot forward into a long lunge, both hands on the floor inside the front foot if possible.

  2. 2

Drop the back knee if needed for comfort.

  3. 3

Rotate the torso toward the front leg and reach the same-side arm toward the ceiling, following it with your eyes.

  4. 4

Feel the stretch through the hip flexor, hamstring, and thoracic spine.

  5. 5

Return the hand to the floor, then switch sides in a smooth flow or complete all reps on one side first.
