How to read ahead. Do to go one move at a time.

Walk while holding a dumbbell or heavy object in one hand only. Forces the obliques and lateral core to work overtime to keep you upright.

Option. Start light and short distances. Progress distance or load only when posture stays rock solid.

Show the steps
  1. 1

Hold a dumbbell in one hand at your side, arm straight, shoulder packed down.

  2. 2

Stand tall, brace the core, and walk forward with controlled steps.

  3. 3

Fight the urge to lean away from the weight — stay vertical.

  4. 4

Keep the opposite arm relaxed or slightly out for balance.

  5. 5

Walk the desired distance, then switch hands.

  6. 6

Quality posture beats heavy weight every time.
