Conditioning Coordination Balance Full body

How to read ahead. Do to go one move at a time.

Lateral crossover steps that travel sideways. Classic coordination and agility drill that also works the hips and stabilizers.

Option. Slow it way down at first. Add a gentle bounce or arm swing once the footwork feels automatic.

Show the steps
  1. 1

Stand tall and step one foot laterally to the side.

  2. 2

Cross the other foot behind (or in front), then step the first foot out again.

  3. 3

Continue the crossover pattern while traveling sideways.

  4. 4

Keep the hips facing forward and the steps light.

  5. 5

Reverse direction after a set distance or number of steps.

  6. 6

Start slow — speed comes after clean footwork.

Grapevine

  • Sharpens footwork, coordination, and lateral movement
  • Gently challenges balance and hip mobility
  • Feels like dancing more than ‘working out’
